The tank semi-trailer made by Kotte takes farmyard manure to its destination
Tank semi-trailers have become commonplace in farming - particularly because of the high-degree of specialisation and simultaneous size increase that farming businesses have undergone in recent years. The tank semi-trailers (TSA) 30,000 allows agricultural contractors to transport farmyard manure quickly and economically, particularly over long distances. Thanks to its compact design, the tanker trailer, which WIKING is releasing as a 1:32 miniature with a black chassis and white aluminium tank, is the perfect companion piece in a true-to-the-original combination with the authentic MAN TGS 18.510 4x4. Operating from their head offices in Rieste, Lower Saxony, agricultural machinery manufacturer Kotte delivers a high level of operational reliability with the TSA of the Garant series while, at the same time, providing high-quality and tailor-made equipment for efficient and economical work flows. The bearing load transmission from the front end to the tractor unit combined with the air suspension allow for a permissible gross weight of nearly 34 tonnes. As the vacuum compressor is powered mechanically by the patented rotary union, the loading aid can utilise the full hydraulic power of the tractor unit. The charging hopper found on the rear panel is positioned such that the liquid manure can be transferred to the spreading vehicle with great efficiency. A pump sump ensures that the tank is trained completely.

Rear axle steers along just as it does in the originalThe 1:32 model is made by hand and assembled with absolute precision from a multitude of components made of die-cast zinc and plastic. When uncoupled, the tank semi-trailer can be placed on the retractable supports with ease, making it possible to mimic the way its prototype was set down during its daily routine. What is more, the coupling fittings for draining the tank can be swivelled just like in real life. Similarly, the operator panel can be opened and closed again. To replicate the manoeuvrability of the original, the rear axle can be steered, the axles have spring suspension, and the function of the lift axle can be simulated.
